It is the policy of the Ebenezer Seventh-day Adventist Church to implement protocols / procedures and practices to prevent the transmission of Covid-19 in line with CMS, CDC and DOH guidelines and maintain the health and safety of the members during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

All potential visitors and members of the church will be screened by medical staff prior to entry for fever, respiratory symptoms. Temperatures will be taken and a checklist form for the presence of signs, symptoms and questions will be given to each visitor or member. Those with symptoms or temperature of 100 F will not be permitted to enter the church building. They will be advised to seek medical evaluation with their Primary Care Physician (PCP).

*IT IS IMPORTANT TO BE TESTED, BY A PCR NASAL SWAB. IF YOU TEST POSITIVE, STAY HOME! IF YOU HAVE NOT BEEN TESTED BUT FEEL ILL IE: RESPIRATORY SYMPTOMS, COUGH AND CONGESTION OR A TEMPERATURE, STAY HOME!

Those persons at highest risk (elderly and those with comorbidities- lung disease, diabetes, heart disease and children under five years of age) are encouraged to participate remotely. If not, those persons will be cohorted in one area of the sanctuary separated from the general population. All children must remain seated and accompanied by their parent or guardian at all times.

All visitors and members that have cleared screening will be given a mask, if they do not already have one, which is to be worn at all times during service.

Physical distancing protocols must be adhered to. Families will be seated together. Alternate rows will be used. An usher will escort all persons admitted to the sanctuary to their seats. There will be no handshakes, hugging, kissing or laying of hands during service.
